Chicken Tikka Masala

This curry is a popular classic with the British people and for good reason. Hot and spicey with a citric acid lime background, this is a very tastey curry. Grilling the chicken first gives the dish the authentic chared colour, which brings it alive. You don't only taste with your mouth, you also taste with your eyes. Liquid Smoke and Salt Smoke help to give the dish that bbq chared flavour, because the dish was originaly cooked in a tantoor oven. Made with a tomato base, yogurt and cream thicken the sauce.

1) Chicken Breast 500g (Choose fresh or defrosted from frozen) or Chicken Legs or Thighs.
2) Olive Oil, 1 tablespoon (Any will do) or Vegetable or any Nut Oil.
3) Tomato, Can 400ml (Chopped or whole Tomatoes is fine) or fresh Tomatoes 4 medium.
4) Single Cream, 125ml (Any will do) or Double Cream.
5) Yogurt, 125ml (Any will do) or fat free yogurt.
6) Stock (Good Quality Brand, chicken, beef, vegetable. Stock makes a huge difference) no alternative. Use stock.
